Description

It takes considerable time and effort to translate health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) science into high-quality value communications. After one has spent hours developing a protocol, executing the project, and poring over data, their study is complete. Just when they thought most of the work was done, their mentor recommends submitting the results for presentation and publication. This poses an exciting opportunity but developing scientific products for publication is a complex process requiring specialized knowledge. This webinar will introduce several strategies for communicating the results of your study. These strategies can be used regardless of study methodology (eg, chart reviews, database analyses, economic models) and publication type (eg, abstract, poster, manuscript, report). As the field of HEOR continues to proliferate, the need for timely, clear, concise publications has never been greater. Make this webinar your first stop in the publication process.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify strategies to develop high-quality scientific publications.
  • Learn how to build a value story that includes key messages supported by study results.
  • Explain the importance of identifying the correct target audience for sharing your research and developing scientific products that are geared toward that audience.
