With advances in medicine and health technologies, changes in healthcare systems have accelerated the use of health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) to improve decision making.ISPOR is at the epicenter of this change. As a multistakeholder membership organization, ISPOR is strategically approaching the future, by leading the way to find solutions to pressing healthcare issues and carefully allocating its resources to support key activities.
As an international, scientific, and educational organization, ISPOR is well positioned to expand consensus building among its HEOR constituencies to improve both the science and healthcare decision making globally. In addition to traditional Society activities, such as the development of Good Practices Reports, organizing conferences, sponsoring chapters, and publishing the field’s most important peer-reviewed journals, ISPOR focuses its efforts and resources in both current and emerging HEOR research areas and on work that makes a difference. Collectively, these efforts help to deliver value to ISPOR members.
