The 12th Annual ISPOR SA Conference is set to take place on 23rd and 24th October 2023 at the Protea Hotel Balalaika in Sandton, Johannesburg. Themed "Health Economics in the Face of the 4th Industrial Revolution," the conference will explore the transformative impact of Big Data and Digital Health on healthcare decisions in South Africa.

The event expects esteemed national and international experts, policymakers, researchers, and healthcare stakeholders to participate, fostering valuable discussions on Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR). Presentations by Prof Katarzyna Kolasa, William Crown, Dr Tienie Stander (VI Research), Joe van Niekerk (Discovery Vitality), Prof Nicholas Crisp (NDoH), Prof Wim Delva (Wimmy) and many more will be featured.

Key topics include "Digital Transformation in Health Research," "The Economics of Data Analytics and AI," and "Global Challenges on Access to Data and Lessons Learned on HTA in SA." Additionally, a Think Tank session will focus on Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and National Health Insurance (NHI).
