The Editors of Value in Health Regional Issues are notifying readers of the retraction of this article entitled, “Systematic Review of Economic Evaluation Literature in Ghana: Is Health Technology Assessment the Future?” by Emmanuel A. Odame, which was published in our journal in 2013. It has come to our attention that this article reproduced large portions of text without quotation marks or appropriate attribution from two previously published articles by Yot Teerawattananon, et al¹ (Pharmacoeconomics; 2007) and by Joseph L. Mathew² (International Journal of Technology Assessment in Health Care; 2011).

Following an internal investigation, the Editors are hereby retracting the article from the published literature in accordance with the editorial guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics.³
