Update: Virtual ISPOR Europe 2021 Expects Record Attendance; In-Person Preconference Summit Canceled

Lawrenceville, NJ, USA—October 15, 2021—As a Society committed to improving health and as a global event producer, ISPOR continues to closely monitor news and reports of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreaks globally. The Society has developed and/or curated a number of COVID-related content sources, including:

The status of the pandemic and associated governmental regulations, restrictions, and advisories has also necessarily required ISPOR to effect changes to a number of its conferences. The following summarizes the current status of ISPOR’s upcoming conferences and educational events for 2021 and 2022.

Virtual ISPOR Europe 2021  |  30 November - 3 December
ISPOR Europe 2021 will include a fully virtual conference scheduled for 30 November through 3 December. Virtual ISPOR Europe 2021 will offer on demand-only content that will be released leading up to the conference, 4-days of live programming, a virtual exhibit gallery, virtual poster presentations, networking opportunities, and access to post-conference recordings for a full month after the event. A 1-day Preconference Summit had been planned for 11 November in Copenhagen, but was canceled based on feedback from members. Educational sessions originally scheduled with this in-person Summit will now be available as part of Virtual ISPOR 2021.

ISPOR 2022  |  May 14 – 18  |  Washington, DC, USA and Virtual
The Society looks forward to hosting ISPOR 2022 as an in-person and virtual conference on May 14 - 18 in Washington, DC, USA. The most up-to-date information on ISPOR 2022 can be found on the conference microsite.

ISPOR Europe 2022  |  5 – 9 November  |  Vienna, Austria and Virtual
The Society is planning ISPOR Europe 2022 as an in-person and virtual conference on 5 – 9 November in Vienna, Austria. The latest information on ISPOR Europe 2022 and all of the Society’s upcoming conferences and events can be found on the upcoming events web page.

Signal Series  |  Various Dates
ISPOR’s new signature program—Signal—looks beyond today’s linear thinking to explore topics that will shape healthcare decision making over the next decade. Signal episodes are scheduled throughout the year and feature conversations with speakers who are innovative thought leaders and change makers in both healthcare and other sectors of economy, science disciplines, and areas of human inquiry that can impact healthcare.

Virtual Short Courses  |  Various Dates
The ISPOR Short Course Program is being offered virtually with courses scheduled throughout the year and at times suitable for a variety of time zones to optimize participation for global audiences. The Society’s virtual HEOR short courses provide the same high-quality curriculum that has historically been offered at its in-person conferences through an interactive, virtual experience. Virtual short courses make ISPOR’s renown Short Course Program available to even more HEOR professionals around the globe.
