Looking to the Future: A Vision for Value in Health Regional Issues

Abstract

Value in Health Regional Issues received its first-ever impact factor score—a respectable 2.0—in the data released in 2023 by Clarivate, the company that publishes the Journal Citation Reports and produces the Web of Science.

Similar to all journals in the “Arts and Humanities Citation Index” and the “Emerging Sources Citation Index” collections of the Web of Science that receive an impact factor for first time, Value in Health Regional Issues will receive its official rankings or quantiles in June 2024. Until that time, there are other metrics that allow us to assess the performance of Value in Health Regional Issues. For example, according to Clarivate’s Journal Citation Indicator calculation, Value in Health Regional Issues is in quartile 3 of the Healthcare Sciences and Services category. In addition, the Scientific Journal Rankings index provided by Scimago reported a score of 0.46 for Value in Health Regional Issues, placing the journal in quartile 2 of the Economics, Econometrics, and Finance category.
