Description
This webinar will inaugurate the third edition of the series of webinars sponsored by FIFARMA on Value and Access to Innovation, and will be focused on exploring the relationship between health and the economy and how to ensure the long term healthcare system sustainability.

Dennis Ostwald will present key findings from his research on the social impact of medical innovation, in which he studied the “spillover” effects on society and the country's wider economy of ongoing medical progress.

Guillermo Aponte Reyes will comment on his research “Health as Investment”, which reflects the experience of six Latin American countries, identifying the causes and current state of health spending. His presentation will address the link between health and the economy, demonstrating the impact on growth rates, employment, and productive work environments.

This webinar will be presented in English with simultaneous translation to Spanish and Portuguese.
