The ISPOR General Business Meeting is held once a year.
The ISPOR bylaws state that “A General Business Meeting shall be held at the Annual Meeting.” An annual meeting of the members is also legally required for US based Nonprofit organizations.
Reports and updates about ISPOR's accomplishments over the past year and plans for the future are presented at this meeting. Attendees have the opportunity to communicate with current and new board members, staff, and other ISPOR leaders. In addition, members in good standing may submit a motion for consideration by the members as a whole or by the Board of Directors. All such motions must be submitted in writing to the CEO & Executive Director at least 48 hours prior to the General Meeting, unless notice is waived by the President. Motions presented at the General Business Meeting will be submitted to the Board of Directors for consideration.
