ABSTRACT WITHDRAWN

OBJECTIVES: The EHS Generative AI Bot introduces an innovative intelligent digital assistant revolutionizing healthcare data accessibility. Through voice and text commands, users can effortlessly retrieve real-time analytical and statistical insights on EHS metrics like bed occupancy, enhancing operational efficiency. It pioneers the integration of Gen AI and Conversational AI with actual healthcare data offering users contextual insights.

The primary goal was to enhance patient access to healthcare information and triage services through the development and deployment of an AI-powered chatbot.

METHODS: EHS implemented the AI Bot project, leveraging Azure Health Bot technology. This solution offers a symptom checker with healthcare information available in multiple languages, addressing language barriers and improving accessibility. The impact is measured through metrics such as reduced wait times for triage services, increased patient satisfaction ratings, and improved efficiency in healthcare delivery.

RESULTS: The AI Bot project harnesses the power of chatbots, revolutionized patient interactions, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring reliable access to healthcare information.

Speeding up query resolution: The AI Bot enables healthcare centers to address simple patient inquiries rapidly, freeing up staff time to handle urgent calls and complex issues efficiently.

Reducing costs: Globally, chatbots have been shown to save the healthcare industry billions of dollars by automating processes and streamlining tasks like appointment scheduling, thus optimizing resource allocation.

Ensuring reliability: With the AI Bot's availability 24/7, patients have access to reliable assistance at any time, fostering a sense of security and trust in our healthcare services.

Offering anonymity: Patients value their privacy, and chatbots provide a non-judgmental and anonymous platform for seeking medical information, allowing individuals to inquire about sensitive issues without sharing personal details.

CONCLUSIONS: EHS looks to expand the use of AI bot to several other services.
