OBJECTIVES: to analyze the development of lists of topical antifungal drugs (TAD) included into the all editions of State Formulary of Ukraine (SFU).

METHODS: information and comparative analysis.

RESULTS: SFU 1st edition was launched in 2009. Currently 11 editions have been published. TAD have been included into the Chapter 9 “Dermatovenerology” of all editions. SFU 1st contained 88 TAD (trade names), among them 85 were single active ingredient preparations; SFU 2nd – 85 (82 single active ingredient drugs), SFU 3rd – 69 (67), SFU 4th – 84 (82), SFU 5th – 74 (72), SFU 6th – 66 (64), SFUs 7th and 8th – 44 (42 in both editions), SFUs 9th and 10th – 42 (40), 11th – 43 (41). Number of preparations was reducing in the next sequence: SFU 1st contained 17 INNs, SFUs 2nd and 3rd – 14, SFUs 4th and 5th – 11, SFUs 6th – 10, SFUs 7th-10th – 9, and SFU 11th – 8. The following preparations have been included into the all editions: bifonazole, clotrimazole, econazole, ketoconazole, miconazole, nystiatin, terbinafine and combination of natamycin, neomycin sulfate, hydrocortisone. Starting from SFU 1st, these preparations have been excluded: griseofulvin, undecylenic acid, clorchinaldol, cetrimide, naftifine, methylene blue, salicylic acid, isoconazole, combination of benzoic acid, ethanol, potassium thiocyanate. Part of domestic TAD in the editions: SFU 1st – 39%, SFU 2nd – 38%, SFU 3rd – 39%, SFU 4th – 48%, SFU 5th – 53%, SFU 6th – 55%, SFUs 7thand 8th – 41%, SFUs 9th – 38%, SFU 10th – 45%, 11th – 44%.

CONCLUSIONS: The tendency for reducing the number of TAD included into SFU is observed. Comparing to SFU 1st, the number of TAD in SFU 11th decreased twice. The preference is given to single active ingredient preparations. Part of domestic TAD is quite similar in the all SFU editions.
