ISPOR CEO Recognized by Stevie® Awards for Women in Business

Lawrenceville, NJ, USA—December 3, 2018—ISPOR, the professional society for health economics and outcomes research, CEO and Executive Director Nancy S. Berg was recently honored with 3 awards at the 15th Annual Stevie Awards®. The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees, and the organizations they run. Ms Berg was recognized as one of the top women leaders in business. She received awards as Female Executive of the Year—Bronze Stevie Award, Female Innovator of the Year—Bronze Stevie Award, and Mentor or Coach of the Year—Bronze Stevie Award. All awards were granted in the government or non-profit category. Ms Berg was hired by the ISPOR Board of Directors in 2014 to lead the organization upon the retirement of the Society’s founder. Under her leadership and in concert with the Board, ISPOR has implemented a new strategic plan that strengthens the Society’s role as a global leader in health economics and outcomes research. She has championed significant updates to the organization’s infrastructure, business processes, governance policies, and technology to improve efficiencies and contribute to future growth. Ms Berg has been a driving force for change and strategic expansion of the organization.

ISPOR Global Panel Proposes New Structure to Improve Definitions of Digital Health Interventions

ISPOR—The Professional Society for Health Economics and Outcomes Research announced today the publication of a report from the ISPOR Digital Health Special Interest Group that proposes a new framework to help standardize and clarify definitions used for digital health interventions. The report, “The PICOTS-ComTeC Framework for Defining Digital Health Interventions: An ISPOR Special Interest Group Report” was published in the April 2024 issue of Value in Health.
