Barcelona, Spain—14 November 2018—ISPOR, the professional society for health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), presented a number of honorees with its annual HEOR awards this morning at ISPOR Europe 2018. The ISPOR Outstanding Regional Chapter Award program recognizes outstanding contributions and leadership of the Society’s chapters for advancing ISPOR’s mission in their regions—Asia, Latin America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. These awards were established in 2017 and this is the first year the Outstanding Regional Chapter Awards are being presented. The 2018 Outstanding Chapter Awardees are:

• Colombia Chapter
• Mexico Chapter
• Russia St Petersburg Chapter

Award winners of ISPOR’s Scientific Achievement and Leadership Awards were presented to honorees earlier this year at its ISPOR 2018 conference. These awardees included:

• Reed Johnson, PhD—Avedis Donabedian Lifetime Achievement Award
• Finn Børlum Kristensen, PhD, MD—Marilyn Dix Smith Leadership Award
• Sherri Rose, PhD—Bernie O’Brien New Investigator Award
