Barcelona International Convention Center (CCIB), designed by the respected Catalan architect Josep Lluis Mateo, the CCIB was built to maximize the use of natural light. Located in the bustling business District of Barcelona, its unique seafront location is complemented by conveniently located hotels and excellent public transportation connections.

As a co-located event at ISPOR Europe 2024, ISPOR Real-World Evidence Summit 2024 attendees have access to the full list of hotels within the ISPOR Europe 2024 hotel program. Bnetwork has been appointed as the official and exclusive housing partner for ISPOR Europe 2024. Your hotel reservations will be part of the Conference block, and Bnetwork will be available to provide support before and during the Conference. 

Several hotels in different categories have been pre-booked at preferred rates for the Conference.  The hotels are located near the International Barcelona Convention Center (Conference venue) and the city center of Barcelona and lie within easy reach (15-20 min). Room availability is based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Travel Information

Barcelona International Airport (also known as El Prat de Llobregat Aeropuerto or Aeroport de Barcelona)  (BCN) is situated 13 km southwest of the city center. Barcelona airport is the nearest and busiest airport to Barcelona city center and receives more than 30 million visitors each year. There is several transportation options to get to and from the airport, providing easy access to the city center of Barcelona.

  • Taxi: Service is available at the airport. Travel time is approximately 25 minutes.  
  • Metro: The nearest metro to the CCIB is El Maresme Fórum on the (yellow line, L4), just a short five-minute walk away. Click here for detailed information.   
  • Buses: The Aerobus is the express bus service that regularly runs between the airport and the city center. Travel time takes approximately 30 minutes.
  • Train: The RENFE train will take you from Barcelona airport to the city centre where you can change for the metro system at either Barcelona Sants (Sants Estació) or Passeig de Gràcia stations. The travel time is about 25 minutes. For more information click here
