Mimi is committed to improving access to medicines for patients by harnessing the power of collaborations to mobilize resources to help our societies get access to medicines through clinical trials. Her passion is to advance scientific knowledge in global health, epidemiology & policy advocacy. With a strong understanding of global health challenges, health disparities, and the social determinants of health, She is currently implementing health equity strategies, initiatives and partnerships to improve healthcare outcomes around the world. Her advocacy work includes co-authoring The Pan African Parliaments Healthcare legislations, policies and model laws as part of her pro-bono legal services to limited resourced countries. Mimi was also selected to co-create Africa’s agenda to strengthen the continents healthcare systems. Mimi has an International Commercial Law Degree & has written her legal research thesis in EU GDPR law and EU Competition Law. She is a trained Anthropologist and Economist with many years of professional experience in Blood Cancer Research.
