Pia Krogsgaard Villadsen currently works as Head of Market Access for Novartis in Denmark. Pia has previously held positions in sales, marketing and business development in various pharmaceutical companies in Denmark. For more than 30 years she has enjoyed working for Novartis – the last 15 years within market access, focusing on a wide range of issues within HTA assessments, pricing, tendering, health economics and external affairs. Pia has negotiated several financial and outcomes-based pricing agreements with the payers and is an active member of various working groups in The Danish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry to improve value-based purchasing, framework for ATMPs etc. Pia holds degrees in language and foreign trade from the Copenhagen Business School and has been a board member of The Danish Pharmaceutical Information (DLI) for many years.
