Tove Holm-Larsen, MSc, PhD, is a guest professor of health economic evidence at University of Ghent, Belgium and CEO at ‘Pharma Evidence’, an international research and consulting firm specialized in the field of health economics and pricing. Tove has +20 years of hands-on experience in tailoring of clinical trials to provide core data for health economic assessments and in strategic use of different data sources such as RCTs, registries and qualitative patient interviews to document clinical benefit to the patient.
Lately, Tove’s main focus has been on implementation of digital health in the drug development process to increase the speed and improve the quality of clinical evidence. She has therefore started the soft-ware company ‘A-Evidence’ which uses artificial intelligence to create scientific overview in terms of systematic literature review, meta-analysis and net meta-analysis. Furthermore, she has co-founded ‘DataFair’, a company building a marketplace for health data sharing based on block-chain technology. DataFair’s vision is to support personalized medicine through safe and ethical re-use of existing Real World Data.
Tove has written several books and a vast number of articles on health economics, innovative pricing and assessment of clinical benefit. She frequently presents her views on megatrends at clinical and health economic conferences.
