Tienie Stander is a medical doctor with many years’ experience in the healthcare ecosystem, including the supply, provider, payer and patient side of the healthcare value chain. He is an international speaker at many global conferences. As the founder and the Managing Director of TCD Research FZ LLC (www.or.tcd-global.com), a Dubai based company dedicated health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) with a global footprint, he has participated and lead more than 250 research projects, presented at many conferences, and published widely in peer reviewed journals. 

He was a founding member and the first President of ISPOR South Africa, current President of ISPOR South Africa, Chair-elect of the ISPOR Africa Network, member of the ISPOR Health Sciences Policy Committee, and a member of ISPOR UAE Chapter. Tienie was an extraordinary professor at North-West University (NWU) and remains a co-promotor of PhD students at the university.
