Sherif Abaza is the general manager MENA at Syreon. He serves as the president elect of ISPOR Egypt chapter. Abaza has worked in various positions in different pharmaceutical companies as Market Access & Governmental Affairs Manager, Group Product Manager & Product Manager. From 2012- 2018 he worked as the governmental affairs director & market access director at Roche Egypt. Before joining Roche, he worked in Novartis Egypt since 2004.

Abaza started his career in Aventis (one of Sanofi Companies) in 1995. Through his work he managed to develop successful partnership programs with government and corporates to improve patient’s access to healthcare. Additionally, he implemented several educational programs to enhance capacity building of partnering institutions. Abaza obtained his Pharmacy degree in 1994, MBA degree in 2007 & Health Economics Diploma in 2013.
