Nasuh Buyukkaramikli is a senior researcher and assistant professor at iMTA/Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management. He has a master degree in Industrial Engineering (IE) from Bilkent University, Turkey (2006) and holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands (2012). In his dissertation, he analyzed the integrated capacity and resource availability optimization in maintenance service organizations under different capacity flexibility options. He has several years of consulting experience in Health Economics/Outcome Research and also acts as a member of ERG in NICE technology appraisals. He has worked in several medium to big scale private/public funded projects, was the main developer of several (early-stage) decision analytical models used in cost-effectiveness / budget-impact analyses, conducted country adaptations, participated in systematic/targeted reviews, contributed to business development activities and took part in communication development with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical experts and clients. His main methodological areas of interest are: probabilistic decision analytic modelling, statistical modelling/analysis, value of information analysis, evidence synthesis and operations research.
