Massoud Toussi is Senior Principal, Real World & Analytics Solutions, IQVIA, based in France and is the global lead for post authorization safety and effectiveness studies (PASS, PAES, REMS, DUS, Survey, Phase VI).

He has more than 15 years of experience as principal investigator, team lead, business developer and offering leader in both post marketing studies and clinical trials. After a few years of practice as medical doctor, Massoud worked for academia, patient foundations, contract research organizations (CROs), and healthcare authorities before joining IQVIA.

Massoud is medical doctor with an MD degree in general medicine and a degree in psychiatry. He has a master’s degree and a PhD in medical informatics and healthcare data analysis from Universities of Paris VI and XIII. He also holds an MBA from University of Paris Dauphine and a master’s degree in international management from University of Quebec in Montreal.

He is an active member of the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology (ISPE), a member of the working group which develops the Methodological guidelines of the European Network of centers of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacovigilance (ENCePP) and the Chair of the regulatory and conditional coverage interest group of Health Technology Assessment International (HTAi).

Massoud is also the Editor-in-Chief of Epidemiology Open Access Journal.
