Janina de Beer was trained as an electronic engineer (with postgraduate studies in bioengineering) and has a keen interest in the healthcare field. She now combines her analytical, quantitative and creative skills obtained during her training as an electronic engineer with her passion for biomedical applications and the healthcare field by working as a Pharmacoeconomic Specialist in healthcare data analysis, biostatistics and health economics.
