Jalpa A. Doshi, PhD, is Professor of Medicine at Penn's Perelman School of Medicine. She is also Director of Value Based Insurance Design Initiatives at the Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics and Director of the Economic Evaluations Unit of the Center for Evidence-based Practice at  Penn.

In addition to her research and administrative roles, she teaches in the Masters in Health Policy Research Program at Penn and also enjoys teaching international audiences in India, China, Taiwan, and Singapore. In recognition of her research, Dr. Doshi has received several awards and honors from national and international organizations such as the American Geriatrics Society, American Heart Association, AcademyHealth, Drug Information Association, and the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research. She currently serves as Co-Editor of the Value in Health journal and the American Journal of Managed Care.
