Gemma is an Evidence Generation Manger in the HTA Centre of Excellence at Takeda and prior to this, was a Senior Health Economist at ICON Health Economics. She has over 4 years’ experience in the development of evidence for reimbursement submissions; conducting cost-effectiveness and budget impact modelling, evidence synthesis and patient-level data analysis. She has lead and worked on projects in a range of disease areas including Hodgkin lymphoma, systemic anaplastic large-cell lymphoma, diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, multiple myeloma, metastatic breast cancer, gastric cancer, Hepatitis C, and acute decompensated heart failure. Gemma is experienced in cost-effectiveness and budget impact model programming, conducting standard and more complex survival analyses, and network meta-analyses in WinBUGs. Her main methodological interest concerns methods to extrapolate time-to-event data.
