Analia Lopez, MD, MSc, is Chief of Cabinet at Ministry of Health of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Nation. She is a medical graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of Universidad del Salvador (1998), with specialized in Family Medicine. She has a master’s degree in Clinical Effectiveness from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and a master’s degree in Medical Education from the Center for Medical Education and Clinical Research (CEMIC) and the National University of Tucumán. She completed postgraduate courses in business administration, health administration and health quality management, and is a graduate in Health Technology Assessment and Health Economic Evaluations.

 

Dr. López was researcher in the Evaluation of Health Technologies and Economic and Quality Evaluations in Health Care at the Institute for Clinical Effectiveness and Health Policy (IECS). She spent most of her healthcare professional career at the CEMIC University Institute as family doctor,where she also served as Coordinator of Quality Improvement Management, Coordinator of Home Assistance, and Head of Medical Auditing and Medical Services. She was member of the Research Ethics Committee and of the Health Technology Assessment Committee.

 

Dr. López is a Professor of Public Health and Health Research Methodology at the CEMIC University Institute, and Professor of Research in Health Policies of the Master in Clinical Effectiveness from the School of Medicine of the UBA.
