Editorial Board Roles, Responsibilities, and Terms
- The ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editorial Board consists of the ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editor(s)-in-Chief and Editorial Board members. The Chair of the Editorial Board is the Editor(s)-in-Chief.
- ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editorial Board members are ISPOR members, who assist the Editor(s)-in-Chief to achieve the mission of this ISPOR publication, selected by the Editor(s)-in-Chief and approved by the Board of Directors.
- The Editorial Board should consist of ISPOR members with expertise in the major interest areas and from geographic regions as represented by the ISPOR membership (see ISPOR member profile at: http://www.ispor.org/member_profile.asp.)
- The Editorial Board assists the Editor(s)-in-Chief with the following activities:
- Develop content of the journal each year;
- Identify key contributed research, contributed workshops, or issues panel topics from ISPOR meetings/congresses suitable for publication in ISPOR CONNECTIONS and invites presenters to submit an article;
- Identify key topics to include in the journal and invites key authors on these topics to submit an article;
- Review, edit, and approve the technical content of the journal; and
- Write feature articles or support an existing or new section of the journal.
- ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editorial Board member should review at least 2 articles or contribute to the contents of at least one article each year.
- An ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editorial Board member serves a term of four years. An ISPOR CONNECTIONS Editorial Board member can serve two 4-year terms upon approval of the Editor(s)-in-Chief and ISPOR Board of Directors.
